  This slick shift bearing fits into the helix and replaces the stock plastic spacer that the spring pushes against.  By adding this specially made bearing in its place, it helps to free up any friction in the clutch.  What you gain in quicker throttle response when your are off and on the throttle.  It's a simple part that really works!
