  This is a popular upgrade for a machine with 7 tooth drivers and a 3" track.  Stock machines, such as the M8000, come with 19-50 gears (2.63 ratio).  Going to the 21-49 gears (2.33 ratio) makes a very nice improvement in track speed and performance while climbing.  These are HYVO gears which can be used with your stock chain on 2016-2017 models.
