    Speed shop overdrive clutch kits work amazing on these cats! The clutches run much much cooler! No more belt blowing problems either. But the best part is the strong acceleration gains that you get, and just killer throttle response. You will notice the belt will go all the way to top of the primary clutch and you won’t get black belt marks on the clutch sheaves anymore. We have been doing these overdrive kits for several years now and they just plain work excellent! Top speed gains of 5-8 mph are normal and sometimes you will see more! Mountain kits will pick up 3-5 mph of track speed.  PRO-MAG clutch weights are adjustable 16-20 grams per arm depending on the size of the weight. And the secondary clutch has a cool adjustable cover on it so you can play with the spring tension if you want, even though we give you a preset spec sheet with it. The PRO-SHIFT overdrive clutch kit is the very first thing you should do for your sled!     For 2016 Arctic Cat started using the Team built clutches. SSI has developed new springs, PRO-MAG adjustable weight and custom machined PRO-SHIFT helixes. The weights are adjustable from 16-20 grams per arm, depending on the model and the helixes have a full progressive multi angle to them. The flat land clutch kits are designed to produce a much faster acceleration, with lightning quick back shifting. The top end pull is great strong in deep snow and on hard pack. The high altitude mountain clutch kit are designed to run in the deep powder providing quicker back shifting and throttle response that you need in the steep and deep. Track speed is increased with efficiency and belt temps are reduced.
